At this EarthlingZ Gathering there will be lots of music, as always,  and plenty of delicious meals and snacks for guests.

But this time we are joining forces with neighbours from the local village and the town of Ogano to initiate two new projects:

今回のアースリングズギャザリングでもいつものようにたくさんの音楽とおいしい食事が出ますが、特に今回

近くの村や小鹿野の住民の有志達に加わり２つのプロジェクトを立ち上げます。

LOCAL ICHI: We will have a small outdoor market, to which we are inviting craftspeople and local residents to display items, including foods, that they make.  Our hope is gradually to begin a larger market down in the town. We feel it's time to bring back the traditional Japanese Ichi, or Farmers' Market, where suppliers and customers can meet directly, resulting in better prices for both.

ローカル市: 工芸家や地域の住民を招き、自家栽培の作物を含む商品の出展を行います。願わくば市街地でのより大きな規模のバザールに発展させていきたいと思っています。生産者、消費者が直接触れ合うことができ、結果的に双方にとってより良い価格での売り買いが出来る伝統的な日本の市やファーマーズマーケット（農民市）を復興させるのによい時期が来たと思います。

上吉田は千鹿谷。
それはそれは気持ちの良いい、山に囲まれた場所で小さな小さな市を開きます。地元で採れた野菜や手作りのおまんじゅう、藍染めのもの、酵素ジュース屋さん等が並びます。朝の9時くらいから昼頃までの予定です(売り物がなくなり次第終わり)
暮らしに必要な物、地元で採れたものを大切にこれから、少しずつ市を開いていけたらいいな。と思います。皆さんどうぞお立ち寄り下さい。

TRANSITION TOWN INTRO:  People in the town of Ogano are beginning to be interested in the Transition Town Movement,  through which a town can gradually shift from dependence on large amounts of energy and on corporate controlled supply chains,  moving towards more ecologically conscious and locally oriented social, economic and agricultural models better suited to the coming era of reduced energy production and the shrinking economy in general.  Since 3/11 this has become an important concern for all who feel the country should move away from nuclear power to renewable energy sources.

町おこしイントロダクション: 小鹿野町の住民は徐々に町おこし運動に関心を寄せるようになっています。

それはひとつの町が大量のエネルギー消費や大企業によりコントロールされた商品の供給チェーンから、段階的にやがて来る全体的により縮小した経済やエネルギー生産の時代にそった、よりエコロジーを意識した、地域に根ざした社会、経済そして農業のモデルへと向かおうとしている為です。3.11以来この問題は、この国は原子力から撤退し再生可能なエネルギー資源に移行するべきだと感じている全ての人々にとって重大な関心ごととなっています。

A representative of the Japanese Transition Town movement will visit the event on Sunday, July 15th, and give an introductory presentation of the concept and movement.  All interested people from Ogano and Yoshida are invited to attend, The presentation will be around 3 PM on Sunday the 15th.

日本人のトランジション・タウン運動の代表が7月15日（日）にこのイベントを訪れ、運動の趣旨やイントロダクションのスピーチをします。興味のある全ての小鹿野、吉田の住民は招待されています。7月15日（日) 3 pm.。
